Acho que a maior parte das coisas legais que vejo por aí surgiram da recriação ou reutilização de algo que já existia.
Todas as peças que são criadas dessa forma, acabam tendo características únicas e individuais.

O site Recreate se especializou nesse tipo de design e tem coisas muito inusitadas.
Vejam as poltronas/malas:

Handmade Christmas

Neste fim de semana tive a oportunidade de ir visitar a minha família em São Paulo, minha cidade natal. Mesmo tendo optado por morar em outro lugar para ter uma qualidade de vida melhor, essa parte de estar longe de todos, com certeza é a mais difícil.
Com o natal – nossa época do ano favorita! – chegando, queremos estar mais próximos e já começamos a pensar na decoração, nas comidinhas, onde vamos nos reunir e…nas lembrancinhas que vamos dar!

Eu fico triste com o teor capitalista que fomos dando ao natal ao passar dos anos e particularmente, acho que poderíamos trocar presentes feitos por nós mesmos, gastando o mínimo possível e mostrando realmente o quanto nos importamos com as pessoas ao nosso redor.

Vejam a dica de como fazer um saquinho de presente:

This weekend I had the opportunity to visit my family in my hometown, São Paulo. Even though I chose to move to someplace else to have a quality living, “the being apart” from my family is definitely the hardest part.
As Christmas – our favorite season! – is arriving, we want to be closer and we are already thinking about Christmas decoration, food and recipes, the gathering and finally…the gifts we´re gonna give!

I get sad with the capitalist Christmas vibe that most people get into this time of the year and I particularly believe that we all could exchange gifts that we make ourselves instead spending lots of money. That would be the best way to really show people how much we care for them.

Definindo o estilo do cômodo que você vai decorar, se for do seu gosto, aposte em cores. Elas deixam os espaços mais aconchegantes e vibrantes.

The spaces and the environment where we live at influence us in many ways, so whenever you get to decorate your own space, it’s really important to use different references and print your own style.

After defining the style of the space you’re going to decor, use colors! They make rooms more vibrant and cozy.
