Cute Lunchbox

Em tempos de economia, de dieta ou simplesmente para variar, levar o seu lanche ou almoço de casa é uma ótima opção!

As pessoas ás vezes tem um preconceito bobo e não querem levar a famosa “marmita” para o trabalho, mas encontrei algumas soluções super fofas e charmosas para você levar a sua quentinha.

If you are saving your lunch money, on a diet or just want to try something new, here are some cute, charming options for you to pack your snack/lunch to work!

1 – Embrulhe seu lanchinho no seu pano de prato favorito.

O legal é você embrulhar a vasilha e dar aquele lacinho no topo.
O pano, além de dar um charme, evita que o molho, ou algum ingrediente do alimento, respingue na sua bolsa e ainda vira um guardanapo reutilizável, em caso de necessidade.

1) Wrap your lunch box in a tea towel and tie a knot on the top, that way, if there’s any spillage or juice leaking out it will soak into the cloth. It also comes in handy for a good (reusable) napkin.

2 – Coloque sua salada dentro de uma vasilha de vidro.

Colocar uma salada dentro de um vasilhame, desses com tampa, de molho de tomate mesmo, é uma idéia super diferente. Como vocês já viram aqui, eu sou uma super colecionadora desses vidrinhos (meu namorado anda se livrando deles escondido) e aqui vai a dica para você organizar a sua salada:

Coloque o molho da salada no fundo e em seguida, acrescente os ingredientes menores como os grãos, pepino ou cenoura. Em seguida acrescente as sementes, castanhas, tomates, cogumelos, ou outro ingrediente de sua preferência e, por fim, coloque as folhas: alface, rúcula, espinafre… Na hora de comer, chacoalhe o recipiente para misturar o molho e os ingredientes e Voilá!

2) Placing a salad inside a jar is a fun new idea that I came across this year. On the bottom of the jar you place the dressing, then hearty bits like beans, cucumber, carrots, followed by lighter bits such as quinoa, seeds, walnuts, tomatoes, mushrooms – whatever you fancy! Then finish it off with salad leaves, like spinach or arugula. When it comes to lunch time – shake the jar so the dressing soaks up into all the ingredients.

3 – Não importa em qual recipiente sua comida está, coloque-a em um saco de papel pardo e amarre uma fita bonita em volta.

Essa ideia é simples, mas é sempre mais divertido abrir um embrulho bonitinho!

3) The last idea is just simply placing your lunch inside a brown paper bag and tying a bow around it. There’s nothing extra special about this, it just looks pretty and makes you happy to open it.

Going to the Movies

Hoje resolvi colocar algo novo aqui no blog.

Como sou apaixonada por cinema e sempre assisto pelo menos dois filmes por semana, vou começar a compartilhar por aqui os que achei legais e os ”nem tão legais” assim.

Desta forma podemos trocar dicas e informações, de uma forma leve e descontraída.

Semana passada estive no festival Varilux de cinema, aqui em Floripa, e assisti dois filmes em uma sessão “dobradinha”. (Os dois maravilhosos, diga-se de passagem)

Today I decided to put something different here.

I´m truly obsessed with movies and usually, in a regular week, I tend to go to the movie theater at least 2 or 3 times a week (not mentioning the ones I watch at home).

So from now on, I´m going to share some of my cinematographic experiences here so we can exchange tips and comments on the movies that we love and in the ones that we hate.

To start I brought two movies that I´ve watched last week:

Une Bouteille a la Mer – Uma Garrafa no Mar de Gaza

Este filme foi uma bela surpresa. Ele conta a história de uma garota francesa que vive em Israel, mais especificamente em Jerusalém, e decide se comunicar com alguém de Gaza, por meio de uma garrafa lançada ao mar com uma mensagem, para enxergar o outro lado do conflito pela ótica de um palestino.

A história é muito emocionante e nos faz pensar em como as coisas mudam ao nos colocarmos no lugar do outro.

Une Bouteille a la Mer – A bottle in the Ocean (translating word by word)

This movie was a beautiful surprise. It shows the story of a french teenage girl, living in Israel, that wants to communicate with someone in Gaza. To start this contact, she throws a message on a bottle in the ocean and waits for a reply.

When she starts to converse with someone from the other side, they both realize that there is more than one way to see the picture. Really moving and sensitive. If you think you´d only see war, think again.

 

 

Les Intouchables – Os Intocáveis

Apesar de ser categorizado como drama, e de ter todos os elementos necessários para tanto, esse filme é incrivelmente leve e arranca muitas risadas.

De uma forma muito delicada ele nos conta a história de um homem tetraplégico que precisa da ajuda de um profissional para realizar suas atividades diárias. O filme começa com a seleção deste tal profissional, porém, diferentemente do que as pessoas poderiam imaginar, ao invés de optar por um profissional altamente qualificado, o personagem principal escolhe contratar um homem muito espontâneo e com um histórico duvidoso.

Vale muito à pena assistir. Esse foi um dos melhores filmes que assisti este ano.

Les Intouchables – The Untouchables

Even though this movie is considered a drama (I´m sure it does have all the ingredients), it will make you smile and laugh.

In a very delicate way, this story shows the drama of a tetraplegic man that needs help from other to do ordinary activities, such as taking a shower or eating. In the search of a professional to help him, the character ends up finding a friend for life.

Really worth watching. One of the best movies I´ve seen in a long time.

Spirit Animal

Existe uma tradição que diz que é possível identificar em cada um de nós um espírito animal e que é ele o responsável por algumas de nossas características comportamentais. Essa teoria se funde com a ideia proposta pelo xamanismo, de que temos diversos guias espirituais animais.

Também queria compartilhar uma ilustração linda que encontrei com essa temática, mas infelizmente não consegui identificar o autor.

There´s an ancient tradition that tells it´s possible to identify the spirit animal in each one of us only by observing our behaviour. This idea also matches the shamanism theory, that believes in spiritual animal guides.

A artista, nascida na Corea do Sul, cresceu em Seoul e atualmente vive em Nova Iorque. Ela é formada em design e seu trabalho fantástico-realista, como gosto de chamar, me lembrou muito o trabalho da Audrey Kawassaki.Já postei os trabalhos dela aqui antes, lembra?

Look of the Day

Hoje resolvi testar alguns aplicativos do meu telefone e tirei várias fotos, então decidi fazer um “Look do Dia”.
Calça verde clara (ZARA), camisa de poá (Brechó), casaquinho amarelo(ZARA), sapatilha bege(Martinez) e o famoso anel-soco-inglês, comprado na Galeria Ouro Fino em São Paulo. A borboleta estava em uma das enormes paredes de vidro aqui da firrrma.

Today I was trying some new apps on my phone so I took a lot of pictures and decided to make a “Look of the Day” post.
All of the clothes were bought in brazilian stores and the butterfly was standing in one of our office glass walls.
